The Pilot Plant at Reutlingen has been extended by a binder agent application device

A binder agent application device has been installed additionally.
The equipment is very flexible and allows to apply binder agents by casting or spraying.
End of 2017 an additional water jet needling device will be installed.

Innumerable customer trials and developments with all kinds and makes of fibres became a full success. In collaboration with the University Reutlingen as well as the ITV-Denkendorf novel Nano-Fibre-Properties were discovered.
With the Fraunhofer Institute, Augsburg - Carbon and Carbon Recycling Products.
With Chinese, Korean, Dutch and US-enterprises novel micro glass products were produced

For the first time, lessons were taught right next to the pilot plant. Thus specific topics can be presented and shown in real live.

Cooperation and support with the renewed "„PAMA paper machinery, Freiberg„

PAMA can draw on the experience of PILL-NVT and therefore also the pilot plant with its processing field in order to be able to better and more accurately design plants for niche products. Experiments are carried out in order to determine the required parameters. This has also proved very successful for high-tech products.

At the design and concept phase, trials can determine constituents. Thus the selection of the required components can be better determined.

Commissioning of Pilot Plant NVLA 58 and Dryer 59 at LENZING AG, Austria

Now LENZING is ready too, together with their present and future customers to develop new or optimize existing products.
The PILL-NVT-team says “Thank You” to all employees of LENZING for the support during a really smooth commissioning.
We wish many successful trials and tests with this new plant.
The plant no. 58 now replaces plant no. 2 from 1984.

3.8.2015  Appointment as guest lecturer at University Reutlingen

Up from the coming semester Helmuth Pill – owner of PILL NASSVLIESTECHNIK – will give lectures as guest lecturer about wet-laid non-woven technology at the University Reutlingen, Germany. This will be the first University in Europe which offers lectures about wet-laid non-woven technology in combination with practical courses at the wet-laid pilot plant installed at the university.

23.7.2015  President of the State Parliament visits Center for Interactive Materials at the University Reutlingen

Wilfried Klenk, President of the State Parliament of Baden Württemberg was guest at the University Reutlingen. In talks with representatives of the Executive Committee and of the Faculity for Textile & Design the politician of the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) informed himself about the new Center for Interactive Materials. After the talks Mr. Klenk visited the halls with equipment for tests and trials where he watched a demonstration of the new wet-laid trial machine, made by PILL NASSVLIESTECHNIK.

 

 

4.2015  On the occasion of our 20th anniversary we have supported the “Clowns on Duty” of the children's ward at the district hospital Reutlingen (Germany) with a donation. The donation cheque was handed over to the clowns Bombolina and Knopf.

“Laughter is the best medicine” and the sick children of this hospital shall have a little bit more of this.
